# Find Email Addresses

Find a contact's email address.

## Find Email Addresses

1. Import your list from one of our [Sources](https://support.parvenu.io/features/sources).

2. Navigate to your [Lists](https://app.parvenu.io/app/lists) page and select the list you want to enrich.
3. Click "Add Enrichment"
4. Click "Email Enrichment" from the Dropdown
5. Your enriched email addresses will be appended to the table.

## Current and Old Work Emails

When a work email is found on a domain that doesn't match the company's website, Parvenu checks it before using it.

* **Current email** - if that domain redirects to the company's website, or the person also currently works at the email's company, the email counts as current. It is added to the Email column and charged as usual, and the contact's history says why it was kept.
* **Old email** - otherwise it is treated as an email from a past employer. It is not added to the Email column and you are not charged for it. The contact's history shows "Old Email Found", and Parvenu keeps looking for a current email.

## Looking Up One Person

When you look up one person's work email through the API, the Claude connector or a Flow:

* **No LinkedIn URL needed** - first name, last name and the company website are enough. A LinkedIn URL still helps.
* **Names are cleaned first** - titles and letters after the name are dropped, so "Dr. Kerri A. Barton, DC" is searched as Kerri Barton.
* **Only the person's own email** - free addresses (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, AOL, iCloud, internet provider mail and similar), someone else's address and shared inboxes (frontdesk@, office@, info@) are never returned, and you are not charged for them.
* **Common patterns are tried** - if no address is found, Parvenu tries the usual address patterns at the company website (first.last@, first@, flast@, drlast@ and so on, up to 8) and checks each one. The first valid one is returned. If the website accepts every address, Parvenu does not guess.
