Maps Search finds local businesses the way a customer would look for them: by what they do and where they are. Good for trades, clinics, restaurants, dealerships, salons and anything else with a storefront rather than a LinkedIn presence. ## Create a List 1. Navigate to [Maps Search](https://app.parvenu.io/app/sources/maps-search) 2. Fill out each of the search terms. | Field | Description | Example | | ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------- | | **List** | A list name | Restaurant Owners in LA | | **Search Term** | What you are looking for | restaurant | | **Country** | The country you want to search | USA | | **State** | The state you want to search | California | | **City** | The city you want to search | Los Angeles | | **Zip Code** | The postal code you want to search | 90210 | | **Places to Search** | The number of companies you want returned. | 1000 | | **Find Contacts** | True / False for if you want to also find contacts working at these companies. | true | | **Job Titles** | Required when Find Contacts is on. The roles to look for. For local businesses, use owner-level titles. | Owner, President, General Manager | | **Find Contacts in Same Location** | True / False for if contacts returned should be close to your searched geography. | true | {% hint style="info" %} 1 company result charges **1 credit.** {% endhint %} {% hint style="info" %} 1 contact with a valid or catch-all email charges **1 credit.** Contacts without one are free. {% endhint %} Credits are held when you start the search and the unused part is given back when it finishes. If you ask for 1,000 places and only 800 exist, you are charged for the 800. For example, if a company has 3 matching contacts and 2 of them have a valid or catch-all email, you are charged 1 credit for the company and 2 credits for the contacts (3 total credits). {% hint style="warning" %} If Find Contacts is on, you must enter at least one job title. Click "Start Enrichment" ## What You Get Back Every place found is saved as a row with its name, website, category, street address, city, state, postal code, country, phone number, star rating, review count and a link to its listing. Places without a website are kept. Most local businesses do not have one, and a place with a phone number is still a lead. ## Download the Results 1. Navigate to the [Lists](https://app.parvenu.io/app/lists) page 2. Search for the list you created and open the table 3.
