# Team

Invite teammates to your Parvenu account, choose their role, and remove people.

Everyone on your team works from the same account. They can use your lists and share one pool of [credits](/settings/billing/credits.md).

## Invite a teammate

1. Go to [Settings → Team](https://app.parvenu.io/app/settings/profile?tab=team).
2. Under **Invite a team member**, type their work email.
3. Pick a role: **Member** or **Admin** (see below).
4. Click **Send invite**.

They get an email from Parvenu. To get in, they go to the [login page](https://www.parvenu.io/login) and sign in with the one-time code that is emailed to them. There is no password to set up.

If the person already has a Parvenu account, they are simply added to your team. They sign in the same way as before.

## Roles

| Role       | What they can do                                                                |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner**  | The person who created the account. Can invite, change roles and remove people. |
| **Admin**  | Same as the owner: can invite, change roles and remove people.                  |
| **Member** | Uses the account and its credits. Can see the team but can't change it.         |

There is one owner per account. The owner's role can't be changed from the Team page.

## Change someone's role

1. Go to [Settings → Team](https://app.parvenu.io/app/settings/profile?tab=team).
2. Find the person under **Your team**.
3. Choose **Member** or **Admin** from the menu next to their name. The change saves straight away.

You can't change your own role.

## Remove someone

1. Go to [Settings → Team](https://app.parvenu.io/app/settings/profile?tab=team).
2. Click the bin icon next to their name.
3. Click **Remove** to confirm, or **Keep** to cancel.

## Troubleshooting

* **They didn't get the email.** Ask them to check their spam folder. They can also go straight to the [login page](https://www.parvenu.io/login), enter the email you invited, and sign in with the code. If the invite email couldn't be sent, the Team page tells you so after you click **Send invite**.
* **I don't see the invite form.** Only the owner and admins can invite people. Ask one of them to invite your teammate or to make you an admin.
* **"Enter a valid email address."** Check the email for typos or spaces.
