# Technology Stack

See which tools each company's website runs

{% hint style="info" %}
Technology Stack costs **0.2 credits per company** that returns technologies — the same whether you run it on one company or a whole list. Several contacts at the same company are charged once, not once each, and a company with nothing found is free.
{% endhint %}

Technology Stack reads which tools a company's website runs — analytics, CMS, ecommerce, ad pixels, CRM, hosting and more — and writes them into the **Technology Stack** column as one comma-separated list, for example `google-analytics, hubspot, shopify`.

## How to set up Technology Stack

1. Build your list using any one of our sources.

{% endcontent-ref %}

2. Navigate to your [Lists](https://app.parvenu.io/app/lists) page and open the list you want.
3. Click **Add Enrichment**.
4. Under **Companies**, select **Technology Stack**. There is nothing to configure.
5. Wait for the results to populate.
6. Download your results.

You need to refresh the page to see the results.

## What it needs

Each row needs a company website. That is what the lookup reads, so a row without one is skipped rather than guessed at — and a skipped row costs nothing.

If your rows have a company name but no website, run [Find Company Websites](/features/enrich/find-company-websites.md) first.

## Which column it fills

* **Technology Stack** — every technology found on the company's website, comma-separated.

Nothing else on the row is changed. Company name, website, industry and the other company columns are left exactly as they are.

## Which rows get enriched

Technology Stack runs on exactly what you are looking at:

* The **view** you are in sets the starting group — All Contacts, Verified, or an ICP view.
* Any **filters and search** you have applied narrow it further.

So if your list has 200 rows but your filter shows 40, only those 40 are enriched. The rows you filtered out are left untouched.

It only fills rows whose **Technology Stack** cell is empty. Rows that already have a technology stack are skipped and are not charged again.

## What you are charged

0.2 credits for each **company** that returns technologies — not each row.

Most lists have several contacts at the same company. Those rows share one lookup: the company's website is looked up once, every one of its rows gets the same result, and you are charged once. Twenty contacts at one company cost 0.2 credits, not 4.

Two cases are free:

* **A company with no technologies found.**
* **A row with no company website.**

This means a run often costs less than the estimate you see when it starts, which assumes every company returns technologies.

## Use cases

* **Find users of a platform.** Filter the list to companies running Shopify, WooCommerce, HubSpot or whichever tool you integrate with.
* **Spot a competing product.** Tailor your outreach to companies already using a competitor and ask them to make the switch.
* **Personalize on what they run.** Mention a company's CMS, analytics or ecommerce platform in the first line of an email.
* **Segment ad audiences.** Build audience segments based on the tools companies use.
* **Judge technical maturity.** A site running a CRM, ad pixels and a tag manager is usually a more developed marketing operation than one running none of them.
