All emails are automatically verified and you can see the result in the Verification Status
column.
Email Verification is automatic for all enriched contacts and does not use additional credits.
A contact with a Valid or Accept All email address counts as 1 credit from your monthly limit.
Invalid, Unknown, and contacts without emails do not count toward your monthly limit.
There are three views on the table and you can change the view from the View
dropdown.
Verified Emails are the default view. This view includes Valid and Accept All emails only. This view can be used directly in an email campaign.
The All Contacts view includes all the contacts in your search, regardless of whether or not an email was found and regardless of the verification result.
The Email Found view excludes contacts where no email address was found, but includes all verification statuses.
An email address that is confirmed to be a real email and is highly likely to deliver.
Accept All, sometimes referred to as Catch All, is a domain wide setting. These emails are likely to deliver, but you do accept a small bounce rate by sending to them.
It is generally considered a best practice to send to Accept All emails, because ~30% of the domains on the internet have Accept All statuses. Excluding them would exclude large segments of your market and they deliver most of the time. If one person at a company has an Accept All verification status, then every person at that company has an Accept All verification status.
An Unknown email verification status means the email’s validity cannot be confirmed or denied. In practice, they are similar to Accept All emails, but worse. They deliver ~50% of the time and it is not considered a best practice to send to these addresses since they are likely to bounce.
An invalid email is one that cannot receive messages due to syntax errors, non-existent domains, or deactivated mailboxes. Do not send to emails with an Invalid verification status.
When downloading your data as a CSV, the file that is exported will match the view set in the View
dropdown.
When exporting your data to a CRM integration or to Google Sheets, the export will match the view set in the View
dropdown.
When exporting your data to an Email Sequence platform, the export will sync Valid and Accept All emails only. Invalid and Unknown emails will not be imported to the Email Sequence, regardless of the view you have selected.
