# Update your Password

## Update your Password
1. Navigate to [Settings](https://app.parvenu.io/app/settings/profile?tab=security)
2. Select the "Password" tab
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter your new password
5. Click "Update Password"

## Reset your password from Settings
Signed in but don't know your current password? Reset it with a code from your email.
1. Navigate to [Settings](https://app.parvenu.io/app/settings/profile?tab=security)
2. Select the "Password" tab
3. Under "Forgotten your password?", enter your new password (at least 8 characters)
4. Click "Email me a reset code". If you already got a code in the last 15 minutes, click "I already have a code" instead.
5. Enter the 6-digit code from the email. It is checked as soon as you enter the last digit:
* **Green:** your password is updated.
* **Red:** the code is wrong or has expired. Check the email, or click "Send a new code".
## Forgot Password
1. From the [login page](https://www.parvenu.io/login), select "Forgot Password"
2. Enter the email address associated with your account.

3. Check your email for a 6-digit code\
Recovery code
4. Enter your 6-digit code in Parvenu.
5. Enter your new password.
6. Click "Confirm and Reset"\
